Yes, I know and I'm working on it...
OK, So I started the "Official" JB's Gallery Of Girls MySpace and some things have been brought to my attention one way or another. One of the first "friends" I added pretty much turned around and blasted the place. Should I be mad? Yes, probably. At this person? No, not really. People have every right to express their opinion, however I do wish that this person had chosen a different way to voice their opinion, like contacting me privately as opposed to broadcasting it publicly. It's irrational to be angry with someone who is voicing their opinion and stating issues that exist at the club which I am fully aware of. They may have thought the MySpace page was just a "public page" for J.B.'s, but it really is run by me, the owner. This being said, when comments are made about my business, I can tend to take them a little personally, as I'm sure you can understand. If people are reading this right now, they may be thinking to themselves "Well, if you're the owner just fix the problems". Easier said than done, and the small business owners out there know exactly what I mean.

These, like so many things, take money, but I'm trying to do what I can.
Running a small business, and a Go-Go bar in particular, comes with SEVERAL financial burdens and responsibilities . Just to give a quick small example, every time someone decides to bust up a restroom, I have to pay to have it repaired. So instead of using the cash to improve the club, I am forced to use those resources to make repairs. And a huge sarcastic thanks to those intellectual geniuses that somehow can't resist the urge to find a way to break the fixtures....it's just oh-so-much fun to have continually pay for the same repairs, and to have the customers be inconvenienced and unhappy on top of it. Thank you so much you sister screwing inbred assholes!
Sorry, got sidetracked. Anyway, we have been in contact with people regarding the purchase of new barstools as well as some other physical upgrades and improvements to the club.
Regarding some people's discontent with the staff, well that's kind of a whole other ball of wax right there.
Junior, KT, Stu, and Ruth are doing every thing in their power to help me run the place as smoothly as possible, and I can't begin to thank them enough for sticking with me.
As far as wait staff, are you familiar with the phrase, "Good help is hard to find"?
If someone out there knows of someone who is friendly, dependable, has some wait staff experience, doesn't have more tattoos on them than are on the guys at the Blue Horseshoe, and doesn't have their head so far up their ass that they can actually see their food before they taste it, then send them here to fill out an application and ask to speak to Junior-

And last but not least, a VERY heartfelt thank you to the many people who continue to support J.B.'s, including Junior, KT, Stu, Ruth, the staff, Nichole and the many other dancers and friends from the MySpace board that keep them coming back, and most importantly, our loyal patrons.
One more thing before I close for now-
To both our gentlemen and women customers who feel that they can speak to/treat dancers however they wish based on the environment they are in-
The dancers are there to keep you entertained, but more importantly they are PEOPLE. PEOPLE who are sometimes trying to support their children, trying to put themselves through college, or just supporting themselves. Please treat them with the same respect that you would treat another human being outside of the club. If you do not believe you are capable, or do not know how, please ask your mother as soon as she is released from prison.

The "OFFICIAL" JB'S Gallery Of Girls MySpace Page...
Yes, that is correct, a JB's Gallery Of Girls MySpace Page. If you've read the previous Blog entries, you may be thinking to yourself, "Wasn't there already a MySpace for them, but they had it pulled?" That's correct in a manner of speaking. The difference in this page being that it is actually run/operated by the owner of the club. Again, no disrespect intended towards other parties, however, as the previous page potentially affected the livelihood of my employees and dancers, not to mention myself, I think you could see how as a small business owner, I would take exception to that, to say the least.
You see, this is a little insight as to how things work-
The more people you bring in, the more the dancers make.
The more the dancers make, the more the club makes.
The more the club makes, the more we can do with the club,
including bringing nationally known feature acts in.
National Acts + regular Dancer Bookings = Good $$$
And then everyone is happy.
See? It's not all that complex, really.
I have added a couple of new links at the left, including one for Michelle who will be appearing at JB's (you'll have to click on her link to see more!) -
Again, thanks to everyone for their continued support and patronage of JB's, and to the dancers who keep 'em coming back!

"Don't F@#k With Wendy Testaburger..."
...or me for that matter. The fine people at News Corporation/Intermix Media/MySpace did me a solid. Thank you! While I realize that there are people out there that just think I'm being a royal bitch (which I can be) and raining on their parade, I am not out to hurt anyone's fun, or just trying to be spiteful. What I am trying to do however is protect my interests. When a person or persons (either knowingly or not) portrays themselves as my business, it takes away from my actual business, and hurts both the employees income, the club's and can be confusing to people. When you (intentionally or not) are taking business away from me, I take that as if you are stealing from me- and I don't appreciate anyone messing with my livelihood (nor should you want anyone interfering with yours)! !

Have you ever been on MySpace and noticed the multitude of famous persons profiles? Ever wonder which one is the REAL one? You wouldn't think it, but apparently there is a JB's Gallery Of Girls MySpace. Now Ready for the funny parts?
1. All of the JB's have been sold to other parties except for one.
2. The "JB's" that is located on George Washington is actually not a "JB's", but a "Headlights".
Do you notice anything about the JB's logo at the top of this page? Specifically that little letter "C" with the cirlce around it? That means it's "copyrighted". I know it's a big word, but if you sound it out, and go real slow, it should sound like "Abe Kalfus is JB's lawyer". For those of you who have still not caught on due to a limited vocabulary, learning disabilites, or some other form of mental handicap-
